A 19th century Indian hide dhal shield of typical circular form, decorated with tigers, camels and horses over a black ground, with four typical metal boss handle mounts, each with mask-like motifs, diameter 51cm, together with another similar hide dhal with painted decoration (overall losses to decoration and distressed throughout).
