Half-title, 2 folding maps, 61 oval mounted photographic portraits. (Toning to margins.) Original green cloth, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover, g.e. (rebacked with original spine laid-down, slight rubbing and minor scuffing). Provenance: Edward Charles Malet de Carteret (armorial bookplate to front pastedown).
