A Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester candlestick, early 19th century, of cylindrical column shape painted with a viola flower within a gilt oval frame against a ground of gilt urns, foliate scrollwork and bellflowers, the gilt handle modelled as a serpent, impressed and puce painted marks to base with title ‘SIMPLEX-MUNDITIIS’, height 8.3cm. Provenance: The Flight Collection.
