An unfinished Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester plate from the William IV service, circa 1830, with a central vacant cartouche and six smaller to the rim against an underglaze cobalt blue ground, within a gadrooned rim, with later gilt overlaid decoration, impressed mark to base, diameter 22cm, together with a Flight & Barr Worcester plate painted and gilt with a border of oak leaves and acorns to the black ground rim, unusual black painted mark to base, diameter 22.5cm, two other Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester plates painted with peasant figures, impressed and puce printed marks to bases, largest 22.3cm diameter, and a set of four Barr Worcester plates painted with botanical subjects within gilt key fret type rims, incised ‘B’ mark to bases, diameter 20.8cm (faults and restoration).
