A large gilt metal mounted Doulton Lambeth stoneware oil lamp (converted to electricity), dated 1881, decorated by Edith Lupton, monogrammed, incised with three large stylized foliate panels each centred by a relief flowerhead against a 'Y' diaper ground, flanked by geometric flowerhead panels and a brown glazed ground of scrolling foliage, the gilt metal base with shell panels above a laurel band and four acanthus topped scroll feet, the shoulders with a gilt metal rim of shells and scrolls, incised and impressed marks to base, height to top of fitting 57.5cm.
