A rare A.G. Hopkins Lambeth Pottery stoneware owl with removable head cover, dated 1928, in the style of a Martin Brothers Wally Bird, with pale blue glazed wings and head, the white chest feathers with pinkish red touches, its eyes looking to the right, one partially closed, incised marks to top of main body, height 29.5cm (minor restoration).
