An 18th/19th century Sri Lankan piha kaetta knife with single-edged fullered blade, blade length 12cm, scrolling carved and chased brass foliate mount and ivory grip with finely carved foliate decoration and white metal mounts, with white metal mounted boarded wood scabbard (losses to lower portion of scabbard). Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
