An early 19th century percussion pocket pistol, probably by Ketland & Co, London, with round turn-off barrel, barrel length 4.2cm, brass locks and body, engraved with trophies of arms, sliding steel safety, folding spring-loaded trigger and one-piece flat-sided wood grip with pokerwork decoration, initialled 'J.S.' (probably an old conversion from flintlock, action works at half and full cock, overall old restoration, wear and abrasion to brass locks).
