A scarce late 19th/early 20th century brass-framed steel fire engine/carriage lamp by Shand Mason & Co, with elegant brass carry handle, applied pressed brass maker's plate, detailed 'Shand Mason & Co, Fire Engine Makers, Upper Ground Street, Blackfriars Road, London', circular glass light aperture, oval bevelled glass side panels and adjustable wick burner, the back with hinged brass handles and clip suspension, height 23cm.
