A late 19th century French brass gorge cased grande sonnerie alarm carriage clock with eight day movement striking and repeating on two gongs, the backplate numbered '615', the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and subsidiary alarm dial, the gorge case with swing handle and bevelled glass panels, the underside with three position lever setting for 'Silent', 'Quarters only' and 'Hour and Quarter', height 16.8cm (lever missing).
