A late 19th century French brass corniche cased carriage timepiece by Soldano of Paris, the eight day movement with platform escapement, the backplate with maker's stamp and numbered '5193', the white enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, the case with swing handle and bevelled glass panels, height 17cm, with leather mounted travelling case and winding key.
