A late 19th century French ormolu and Sèvres style porcelain mantel clock, the eight day movement with platform escapement striking on a bell, the backplate with Japy Frères maker's stamp, the foliate engraved dial with applied skeletonized black chapter ring with Arabic hour numerals, the case surmounted with a pair of putti above four inset porcelain panels painted with flowers within gilt and bleu céleste borders, flanked by a pair of cast foliate scrolls, on a breakfront base with toupie feet, height 35cm, with winding key.
