First edition, 8vo (220 x 136mm.) Title, 87 engraved plates, including 20 folding, 10pp. ‘List of Subscribers’. (Lacking plate no. 16 and plate 53 replaced with duplicate of plate 46, most plates damp-stained, browning, marginal creasing.) Contemporary half morocco over marbled paper-covered boards, gilt lettering to spine (extremities rubbed, covers heavily, inner hinge weakened).
