ARCHITECTURE. – Albert Edward RICHARDSON. Monumental Classic Architecture in Great Britain and Ireland During the Eighteenth & Nineteenth Centuries. London: B.T. Batsford, [1914.] First edition, folio (373 x 272mm.) Numerous black and white illustrations. (Mild toning.) Original blue gilt decorated cloth (some discolouring to lower cover), dust-jacket (tears to extremities and spine panel). Provenance: Brierley Hill School of Arts and Crafts (presentation plate to front pastedown). – And a further seven volumes (including Joseph Gwilt’s ‘An Encyclopaedia of Architecture’, New edition, 1888, large 8vo) (8).
