An Edwardian Arts and Crafts Heal & Sons chestnut 'Owl' cabinet, designed by Sir Ambrose Heal in 1905-06, fitted with a pair of cupboard doors with applied circular panels centred by rotating latch handles, the drawers with recessed 'squashed heart' handles, height 151cm, width 110cm, depth 52cm (faults). Note: a similar cabinet can be seen in 'Sir Ambrose Heal and the Heal Cabinet Factory 1897-1939' by Oliver S. Heal, page 179.
