LOT 4102
A Japanese iron tsuba, Edo period, of oval form, inlaid in brass and copper with a design of a scholar with a monkey on his shoulders, pointing a stick towards a board with pine branch above, unsigned, 8cm x 8.5cm. Provenance: the collection of the late Roald Knutsen (1933-2025). Note: probably 18th century.
