A Japanese iron tsuba, Edo period, of shaped square lobed form, damascened with a dragon three-dimensionally clawing its way around the outer edge, as if appearing to tear through clouds, unsigned, 7.5cm x 8.5cm, within a later presentation box. Provenance: the collection of the late Roald Knutsen (1933-2025).
