A Louis XV brown tortoiseshell and gilt brass boulle cased bracket clock by Leroy of Paris, the two train movement striking hours and half hours on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate signed 'Leroy Paris', the 9½-inch embossed gilt circular dial with applied enamel hour plaques and black Roman numerals, the waisted case with angel surmount above a glazed hinged front door and glazed sides, the interior with marquetry inlaid floor and back panel, the sides with cast foliate scroll mounts and feet, height 83cm, with pendulum and winding key, together with a matching wall bracket, total height 111cm (some faults and repairs).
