John Farleigh (British 1909-1965) - Standing female nude, pencil, signed, dedicated and dated 1946 lower left, 17cm x 12cm, within a gilt frame. Provenance: gifted from the artist to Eric Mellon whilst at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London, 1946; thence from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014).
