An extensive collection of British found fossil specimens, collected by Raymond and Mary Wells, including ammonites, micrasters, sharks' teeth, various shells, belemnites and plants, all mounted to numbered wooden boards and fully annotated. Note: Ray Wells (1928-1998) lived and worked in Brighton & Hove and had a passion for palaeontology, geology and archaeology, spending most of his spare time and holidays hunting for fossils locally and in Dorset, Isle of Wight, Shropshire and Yorkshire.
