A rare Louis Vuitton zinc-covered and wooden-bound 'Explorer' cabin trunk (malle cabine), circa 1895, the hinged lid and sides with brass trim, studs, side handles and locks, the sides with stencilled initials 'E.C.D.', the interior bearing original printed label, numbered '37946', the underside fitted with four barrel castors, height 54cm, width 82cm, depth 47.5cm.
