An album containing 21 postcards and related research material relating to postcard censorship, most with approved and rejected stamps from Blackpool, Great Yarmouth and Isle of Man, including a postcard titled ‘The Time Committee’ with stamp ‘Ronnie Barker Collection’ illustrated on p.103 of his book ‘Gentleman’s Relish’, as well as a postcard by Donald McGill titled ‘A penny for your thoughts!’ number 2172, and a postcard titled ‘Mary and her little bear behind’, also including facsimile documents relating D. Constance Ltd and the letter from the Lincolnshire Constabulary requesting the destruction of certain postcards, also including 2006 calendar from Dennis Gardner and four issues of Bamforth ‘Seaside Sauce’.
