James Francis Danby (British 1816-1875) - Sunset behind Elizabeth Castle, Jersey, with military figures and cart returning to shore at low tide, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1867 lower right, 56cm x 94cm, within a gilt composition frame. Provenance: with J.S. Maas & Co Ltd, incorrectly identified as Carrickfergus Castle, near Belfast.
