A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vases, mid to late 19th century, each shouldered tapering body painted and gilt with opposing panels of figures and birds amidst flowers, all reserved against a lotus and scrolling tendril filled gilt ground, the similarly decorated flared neck applied with gilt chilong to shoulders and Buddhistic lion handles, height 36cm (minor faults).
