A large Derek Davis studio pottery stoneware vase, of cylindrical shape raised on a smaller cylindrical foot, the top half with a running blue/green glaze over a grey/blue glaze, the grey glazed interior with manganese splashes, black painted mark to base, height 33.5cm. Provenance: from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014).
