A Bernard Forrester stoneware studio pottery jardinière, of bulbous shape incised and painted with birds and stylized foliage between geometric banding in polychrome colours and gilt, gilt painted ‘F’ mark to base, height 14.5cm. Provenance: from the personal collection of the ceramic artist, the late Eric James Mellon (1925-2014).
