ADVERTISING. – F.A. MERCER and W. GAUNT (editors). Modern Publicity. London: Studio Publications, 1927-1966. 27 issues in 20 vols., 4to (289 x 203mm.) Numerous colour illustrations and tipped-in plates. (Toning, occasional spotting.) Original cloth (wear to spine ends, fading, some spotting to covers). Note: the 1927-1929 issues were called ‘Posters & Publicity’ before changing to ‘Modern Publicity’ in 1930. This run lacks issues for the years 1931-32, 1935-36, 1944-48, 1957-58 and 1961. – And a further eleven related volumes (‘Graphis Annual’, 1952-1968, 11 vols., 4to) (31).
