BOOKBINDING. – Marianne TIDCOMBE. Women Bookbinders 1880-1920. London: Oak Knoll Press and the British Library, 1996. First edition, 4to (244 x 171mm.) Colour illustrations. Original green cloth-backed paper-covered boards. – And a small quantity of approximately twenty-six volumes related to bookbinding (including John Mitchell’s ‘A Craftsman’s Guide to Edge Decoration’, signed by the author, 1993, 4to, and Bernard C. Middleton’s ‘A History of English Craft Bookbinding Technique’, 1978, 8vo, and P.J.M. Marks’ ‘Beautiful Bookbindings’, 2011, 4to, and 6 issues of ‘The Bookbinder’, 2016-2021, and 18 issues of ‘The Society of Bookbinders Newsletter’, 2016-2021) (small quantity).
