A George V 1897 pattern infantry officer's dress sword by J.R. Gaunt & Son, late Edward Thirkle, 53 Conduit St, London W, with straight dumbbell-section blade, blade length 84cm, the spine stamped '13015', finely etched with foliate decoration and detailed with Royal arms, crowned 'GRV' cypher and initials 'NCC', chromed bowl guard with openwork decoration and crowned 'GRV' cypher, and wire bound fishskin grip, with polished steel scabbard.
