A fine late 19th century European hunting hanger by G.H. Kohl, Stuttgart, with straight single-edged blade, blade length 55cm, finely etched with foliate decoration and maker's details, cast brass clamshell guard, detailed with stags in a forest, reverse S-shaped quillon with acorn finials, curved staghorn grip and silvered brass pommel cap, with plated brass mounted black leather scabbard with utility tool aperture and boar mask decoration (utility tool lacking).
