A late 19th century Mk II Martini-Henry rifle by Birmingham Small Arms & Metal Co, with front and rear ladder-sighted barrel, barrel length 83cm, and typical lever action, the lock marked with crowned 'VR' and dated 1889, full-stocked in walnut with twin sling mounts and pull-out cleaning rod (action works, some unusual white marks to stock, some splitting to woodwork on stock and small losses and fixing holes).
