A mid-19th century Snider-Enfield 1853 pattern .577 three-band percussion rifle with front and rear ladder-sighted barrel, barrel length 100cm, roll-over loading action and line border engraved lock, detailed with a crown and '1862 Tower', full-stocked with brass trigger guard and butt plate, pull-out steel cleaning rod and double sling suspensions, with an associated socket bayonet.
