A fine Remington 1858 pattern New Model Army .44 six-shot percussion revolver with sighted octagonal barrel, barrel length 20.5cm, detailed to the top face 'Patented Sept. 14. 1858, Remington & Sons. Ilion New York. U.S.A. New Model', numbered to underside of barrel '122196', spring-lever loading action, brass trigger guard and walnut plate grips (overall very good condition, action works at half and full cock, some loss to original finish in parts).
