A George III 1796 pattern infantry officer's dress sword with straight single-edged blade, blade length 79cm, etched with foliate decoration and detailed with Royal arms and 'GR' cypher, brass clamshell guard and wire bound grip, with brass mounted stitched leather scabbard, together with a George III 1796 pattern light cavalry officer's sword with curved single-edged blade, blade length 82.5cm, steel stirrup guard and wire bound leather grip (overall environmental damage to both, some harsh cleaning).
