A late 19th century Scottish Highlander's dirk by Hamilton Crighton & Co, Edinburgh, with single-edged fullered blade, blade length 27.5cm, carved ebonized wood grip with traditional basketweave design and brass stud decoration, the pommel mounted with a foil-backed glass Cairngorm style stone, with gilt brass mounted scabbard, detailed with the badge of the Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment) and thistles, fitted with utility knife (lacking utility fork).
