A Supermarine Spitfire piston and connecting rod assembly belonging to Spitfire FXIV G-ALGT, manufactured in 1944, mounted on a black painted wood plinth with applied plaque, height 21cm, width 52.5cm, depth 19cm. Note: Spitfire FXIV G-ALGT sadly crashed on 27th June 1992 at an air display at Woodford Airport, near Manchester, with pilot fatality.
