Two pairs of Chinese silk embroidered children's tiger shoes (hutouxie), early 20th century, each in the form of a tiger with facial detail and applied tails, lengths 18.5cm and 14.5cm, together with a similar pair of blue silk embroidered rabbit shoes, length 12cm, and a pair of green silk embroidered bound foot shoes, decorated with flowers, length 16.5cm. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
