A set of four Continental faience drug jars with metal covers, French or Italian, probably late 18th/early 19th century, comprising two of wet drug form with spouts and broad strap handles, and two of dry drug form, each inscribed with a label surrounded by polychrome flowers, height 18cm (extensive faults and repairs to each). Provenance: Previously in the collection of Sir Harry Jephcott, 1st Baronet, managing director of Glaxo Laboratories, thence by descent.
