A matched pair of Meissen figures, late 19th century, the first, modelled after Acier, as a shepherd attaching a love letter to a dove, a sheep at his feet, incised 'F.73' to base, the second as a shepherdess adorning a lamb with a blue ribbon, incised 'F.68' to base, both on a circular base with gilt enriched moulded detail to the side edge, underglaze blue crossed swords marks to bases, 18.5cm high (some faults and restoration).
