A Ginori maiolica salt cellar centrepiece, late 19th century in 16th century style, of boat shape with an elaborate large mask surmounted by a goat's head to both ends, smaller masks surmounted by circular dishes to both sides of the middle circular aperture, the main body painted with merfolk and moulded with paw feet, raised on a canted square shaped base painted with geometric patterns, blue painted factory mark to base with numerals '46-52', height 21cm (minor faults).
