A Hadley’s Worcester Faience boat shaped two-handled vase and cover, 1897-1900, shape No. 150B, the blush ground painted in brown with flowers and foliage, a moulded flowerhead border to the shoulders in green and brown, flanked by angular handles and raised on an oval base with four feet, the cover with flame finial, puce printed and red painted marks to base, height 16cm (minor faults and restoration), together with four other pieces of Hadley’s Worcester, comprising two lobed bowls, one painted in brown with lily of the valley, diameter 14cm, the other with wild roses (restored), a small two-handled vase painted with flowers against a blush ground, height 8cm, and a posy vase raised on four pointed feet, height 9.3cm.
