A late 19th century Louis XVI style gilt metal mounted green tortoiseshell boulle cased mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'Klaftenberger 157 Regent St & Paris' and numbered '1905 12-6', the gilt circular dial with inset enamel hour plaques, the balloon shaped case with foliate finial and pierced scrollwork decoration, on scroll feet, height 30.7cm, with original pendulum.
