Two Chinese silk embroidered civil style rank badges, 20th century, each worked in coloured threads on a black ground, one depicting a golden pheasant amidst precious objects and vapours with waves below, the other a silver pheasant amidst bats, peony, peaches and vapours above waves, 25cm x 28cm, both framed and glazed. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
