LOT 1109
Two Chinese silk embroidered military style rank badges, 20th century, each worked in coloured threads, one depicting a qilin standing on rocks amidst vapours, bats, lingzhi fungus and peaches above crashing waves, 25.5cm x 28.5cm, the other an elephant amidst ruyi-head vapours, 25cm x 26.5cm, both framed and glazed. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
