Two Chinese silk embroidered civil style rank badges, 20th century, each worked in coloured threads on a black ground, one depicting an egret within a surround of vapours and bats, 26.5cm x 27cm, the other a mandarin duck amidst vapours, bats and flowers, 25cm x 28cm, both framed and glazed. Provenance: the property of a West Sussex lady collector.
