A Chinese Canton export mother-of-pearl shell, late 19th century, finely carved and pierced with birds flying and perched amidst bamboo, chrysanthemum and pine tree, above rocks, length 20.8cm.

A Chinese Canton export lacquer rectangular games box, mid-19th century, the cover and sides decorated with gilt pavilions and willow trees, the interior fitted with five similarly decorated interfitting boxes and covers, four containing playing cards, the other containing a collection of Canton mother-of-pearl gaming counters, comprising eighteen oval, eight rectangular, eighteen slender shaped rectangular, thirty-six circular, thirteen lobed circular and seventy elliptical, the majority with incised decoration, length of box 33cm.

A pair of Japanese cloisonné vases, Meiji period, each ovoid body finely decorated with sparrows flying above and amidst branches, flowers and grasses on a gilt speckled green ground, within finely worked simulated brocade borders to rim and foot, unsigned, height 24.6cm (minor faults).

A pair of Chinese famille verte and powder blue ground porcelain vases and covers, mark of Kangxi but late 19th century, each domed cover with Buddhistic lion finial, each baluster body painted with opposing barbed panels of coastal landscapes and birds amidst flowering branches, all reserved against a powder blue ground, underglaze blue four-character mark to bases, heights 32.5cm (one with minor hairline to rim and chip to cover).

A near pair of Chinese blue and white crackle glazed porcelain circular dishes, late Qing dynasty, one painted with a pair of dragons amidst vapours, the other with a Buddhistic lion and two cubs amidst vapours, both with iron oxide washed rims, incised pseudo seal mark to base, diameters 33.9cm and 34.7cm (minor rim repairs).

A Chinese Imari export porcelain tankard, Qianlong period, the baluster body painted and gilt with flowers and leaves, height 16.2cm (two hairlines to rim).

A Chinese grey jade pendant, probably late Qing dynasty, carved in the form of two peaches and leaves, the mottled grey stone with brown and black inclusions, length 5.3cm.

A Japanese cloisonné vase, Meiji period, of shouldered rounded square tapering form, decorated with a sparrow flying above chrysanthemum, rocks and small waterfall on a black ground, unsigned, height 18.5cm.

A Chinese yellow glazed porcelain bowl, mark of Chenghua but probably 20th century, of steep-sided circular form with slightly flared rim, the exterior incised with a pair of dragons, flaming pearls and vapours, underglaze blue six-character mark to base, height 8.1cm, diameter 18.3cm (hairline across foot).

A Japanese cloisonné box and cover, Meiji period, of rectangular form with rounded corners, the top and front finely worked with five sparrows amidst bamboo and chrysanthemum on a black ground, unsigned, length 15cm, height 5.9cm.

A Chinese Canton silver mounted mother-of-pearl rectangular box and cover, mid-19th century, the top and sides finely incised with birds, flowers, foliate scrolls and precious objects, length 7.3cm.

A Chinese famille rose enamelled porcelain scholar's brush rest, mark of Qianlong but probably 20th century or later, of scroll form, the top painted with a panel of a fruiting branch, bat and rocks within a pink and blue cell diaper border, gilt four-character mark to turquoise glazed underside, length 10.9cm.

A Chinese famille rose export porcelain meat dish, Qianlong period, painted with a central flower spray within a gilt scroll and flowerhead border, length 42cm (typical minor glaze fritting to rim).

A Chinese underglaze blue and iron red enamelled 'nine dragon' porcelain circular dish, mark of Qianlong but probably 20th century or later, painted with iron red dragons on a blue crashing wave ground and amidst vapours, underglaze blue pseudo seal mark to base, diameter 27.5cm.

A pair of Japanese brown patinated bronze elephant head bookends, possibly by Seiya, late Meiji period, each modelled looking to the front supported by trunk and ears, indistinct cast signature to back of ears, height 13cm (one with crack to trunk).

A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain punchbowl, mid to late 19th century, the interior painted and gilt with figural scenes within gilt keyfret framing, the exterior with further panels of figures, birds and flowers, all reserved against gilt grounds filled with butterflies, birds, flowers and scrolling tendrils, height 11.2cm, diameter 26cm (minor chip to rim).

A set of four Chinese famille rose enamelled and underglaze blue export porcelain plates, Qianlong period, each painted with scattered flowers within underglaze blue intertwined panelled borders, diameters 22.6cm (one with hairline, crack to rim).

A pair of Chinese Canton blue and white export porcelain meat dishes, mid-19th century, each painted with pavilions, trees and boats in a coastal landscape, length 24.7cm, together with a similar larger meat dish, length 27.5cm.
