A Japanese Satsuma earthenware two-handled sugar bowl and cover by Yabu Meizan, Meiji period, the squat circular body and cover finely painted and gilt with sparrows flying and perched amidst acer branches, beneath a knop finial, gilt signature seal to base, height 9.4cm.

A Japanese Satsuma earthenware moonflask, Meiji period, the flattened circular body painted and gilt with variously shaped brocade filled panels on a flower ground, unsigned, height 10.2cm, together with a small Satsuma earthenware bowl, painted and gilt with a design of butterflies, diameter 6.2cm, and a Japanese blue and white porcelain teabowl, Edo period, height 5.6cm (repaired).

A Japanese elm, ivory and lacquer crystal ball stand, Meiji period, the rectangular stand with stepped frieze and cabriole legs, the top applied with a pair of ivory and lacquer okimono figures flanking a large gilt and brown lacquer urn, with carved ivory bubbling liquid emerging from within, surmounted with a crystal ball, total height 24cm, width 31cm (some faults).

A Japanese Satsuma earthenware circular bowl, Meiji period, the interior painted and gilt with a gathering of figures in a water garden with koi carp beneath an overhanging acer, within simulated brocade borders, the exterior with variously shaped panels of figures, precious objects, flowers and landscapes, unsigned, diameter 13.1cm, height 4.9cm, together with another Satsuma earthenware bowl of fluted square outline, painted with samurai, flowers and simulated brocade, width 13.2cm, height 4.9cm (chip to rim), and a small Kutani porcelain bowl, width 3.2cm.

A Japanese Satsuma earthenware cylindrical pot, Meiji period, the exterior painted and gilt with a continuous landscape of figures, pavilions, trees and lake with Mount Fuji beyond, unsigned, height 7.6cm (repaired), together with three Satsuma earthenware vases, Meiji period, painted and gilt with figural panels, heights 14.6cm, 17.5cm and 18.1cm (the smallest with damaged neck).

A Japanese cloisonné vase, Showa period, of stout ovoid form, decorated with a lakeside landscape view of pavilions, trees, rocky shores and a boat with Mount Fuji beyond, on an ice white ground, between a silver plated rim and footrim, detailed 'Japan Cloisonne' with 'E' in a diamond mark, height 17cm.

A Japanese brown patinated cast bronze figure of an elephant, Meiji/Taisho period, modelled standing with trunk raised, fitted with ivory tusks, incised signature to underside, height 12.8cm, length 18cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.

A Japanese silver ginbin (kettle), Meiji/Taisho period, of tetsubin form with overhead swing handle, the cover with ball finial, the baluster body engraved with dragons on a hammered ground, with mask moulded spout, engraved signature to cover interior, weight 265g, height 18.4cm.

A Chinese carved mammoth's tooth panel, 20th century, carved in relief with a beetle and fruiting vines, two-character signature to reverse, length 12.6cm, with wood stand.

A Japanese Satsuma earthenware figure group, Meiji period, of an elder and child, each modelled standing, the elder gentleman wearing blue and gilt hat and robes, holding a cat in his right hand, accompanied by a young boy looking up from his side, iron red painted signature and inscription to base, height 25cm (minor repair to child's hand).

A Chinese polished bronze censer, mark of Xuande but 19th century, of slightly tapered rectangular form, flanked by a pair of openwork handles, cast six-character mark to base, weight 665.6g, height 6.1cm, width across handles 14cm.

A collection of fifteen Chinese hardwood circular stands, 20th century and later, diameters ranging from 9.8cm to 23.5cm, together with five other hardwood stands and four folding dish stands.

A Chinese famille verte porcelain bottle vase, Kangxi style but later, the ovoid body painted with a scene of the demon-queller Zhong Kui and four demons, beneath a narrow neck painted with iron red bats and a moon, height 15cm.

A Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, mark of Qianlong but probably 20th century or later, of compressed baluster form, painted with figural panels on a prunus and cracked ice ground, underglaze blue seal mark to base, height 12.4cm, together with a Chinese brown glazed vase, height 10cm.
