A Japanese parquetry and lacquered collector's cabinet, Meiji period, with gilt copper mounts, handles and hinges, the top with gilt roundels, the front with a pair of hinged doors above a single drawer, each with parquetry inlaid panels, the lacquered interior fitted with six drawers and decorated with precious objects, height 52cm, width 59cm, depth 34.5cm, raised on an associated ebonized stand with cabriole legs, total height 101.5cm.
