A 17th century claret velvet gaming token purse with gilt metal thread embroidery and leather-lined interior, height 8cm, together with an 18th century Dutch child's cap, constructed from bands of metal braiding, and a cotton bonnet, embroidered with foliage, all within a perspex display case.

A late George IV needlework sampler by Ann Orton, dated March 31 1820, finely worked in coloured silks with plants, verse and a strawberry border, 28cm x 31.5cm, framed.

A Victorian needlework sampler by Elizabeth Beeley, aged 9 years, finely worked in coloured silks with a border of vine and flowers, 37.5cm x 33cm, within a period mahogany frame, the reverse inscribed 'Dalestorth School', together with a silk and gilt thread embroidered panel, held within a needlework frame.

An early 19th century needlework sampler, partially worked with the Tree of Life, other figures, peacocks, plants and other animals, 43cm x 30cm, framed.

A North-west Chinese silk and gilt thread embroidered panel, Qinghai province, probably the end of a wedding sash, finely worked with stylized flowerheads and reserves of scrolling foliage, 58cm x 35cm, together with a pair of similarly worked plait extensions. A Kirghiz woven yurt band, Karakuli Lake, near Kashgar, Xinjiang Province, China, the long flatweave band worked with hooked and stepped motifs, on a striped red and black ground, length 10m, width 41cm.
