Davies, 1813-1808-1822. 6 vols., in 10 parts (only), 4to (277 x 207mm.) 8 double-page maps, 1 folding map, 264 plates and plans (79 folding), 7 hand-coloured plates (3 folding). (Browning, spotting and offsetting, sometimes heavy, affecting plates and text leaves, vol. III slightly affected by damp, marginal tear with minor loss to p.viii of vol. VIII, ink marginalia to titles of vol. I and vol. II.) 19th century half-morocco, spines in six compartments with raised bands, t.e.g. (extremities bumped and scuffed, spines faded, joints and hinges starting to split, shelf references to spines). Provenance: Richard Neville Hadcock (bookplate to front pastedowns); West Sussex County Library (labels and library stamps to endpapers and reverse of titles). Note: this part-set includes the counties Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Chester, Cornwall, Cumberland, Derbyshire and Devonshire.
